Angel Wings and Wheels (AWAW) is America’s charitable medical transportation system and serves patients in need by providing free travel to distant, specialized medical facilities. Means of transport are as follows:

• Commercial airlines
• Private planes flown by volunteer pilots
• Rail
• Private motor coaches operated by owners/volunteer drivers
• Commercial bus

In addition, AWAW finds and coordinates discounted, bed-to-bed air ambulance transportation for non-ambulatory patients.
